Village of Round Lake Heights Crime Free Lease Addendum

You now have a tool to assist you in your business, the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program. This program was created by Ordinance 2006-O-14.

This ordinance will help minimize problems you encounter with certain tenants and will help make Round Lake Heights a better place to live. Round Lake Beach has already implemented an identical program with great success.

All landlords are required to attend the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program that will be held on November 1, 2007 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at the Village of Round Lake Heights. Please contact officer Blasco at (847)546-1206 ext. 310 to reserve your place.

Every Landlord is required to attend, even if you have only one residential rental unit. If you have a property manager that is not the owner, they can attend on your behalf. The property manager cannot be the tenant. If you have attended the Crime Free Multi-Housing class within the last two years from another municipality, we will accept that class.
